Farmer Education & Support

We provide our 3,200 farm families with expert guidance, training, and on-farm support to drive sustainable dairy production. Through initiatives like the Teagasc Joint Programme and Northern Ireland Dairy Development Programme, we help farmers improve grazing, soil health, and emissions reduction. Our work with Dairy Sustainability Ireland ensures Irish dairy remains a global leader in sustainability.

Responsible Supply Chain

Sustainability doesn’t stop on the farm. At Lakeland Dairies, we are committed to ensuring that our entire supply chain minimises waste, reduces emissions, and promotes sustainability. This includes investing in energy-efficient processing methods, incorporating renewable energy solutions, and optimising transport logistics to reduce carbon emissions. Furthermore, we implement advanced water conservation and treatment systems at our processing sites to ensure sustainable water usage, demonstrating that every stage of our supply chain is aligned with our environmental goals.
