Lakeland Dairies was delighted to support the Holstein Young Breeders Club AHV Multibreed Calf Show, which took place recently at Logan Hall. Attracting close to 200 calves and young handlers from across Northern Ireland, the event has become a flagship occasion in the agricultural calendar, growing in scale and significance each year.

The show provides a vital platform for the next generation of pedigree dairy breeders, designed not only to showcase livestock and handler skills, but also to promote dairy farming as a viable and rewarding career path for young people. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, the event plays a key role in encouraging youth involvement in the sector and highlighting the opportunities available within the wider agricultural industry.
