Lakeland Partners with VistaMilk Research Ireland Centre.
We are delighted to be part of the newly launched Greenhouse Gas Hub, a major research initiative led by the VistaMilk Research Ireland Centre and Teagasc Climate Centre, alongside our fellow dairy co-operatives: Carbery Group, Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd, Kerry Dairy Ireland and Ornua.
This partnership will look at developing solutions to reduce enteric methane emissions from pasture based dairy systems. The research will support strategies that will help the dairy sector meet national climate targets and reduce carbon footprint.
We look forward to working together to build a climate-smart future for dairy, rooted in collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
